2008年將有多項排球賽事在亞洲地區舉辦!!包括了AVC亞洲排聯舉辦的以及FIVB國際排總舉辦的多項賽事。而其中除了原有的比賽之外，今年亞排聯還將舉辦一項新賽事－亞洲盃(Asian Cup)排球賽，這項比賽將只有亞洲前八強隊伍才有參賽資格，而我國男女排在去年亞錦賽雙雙打進八強之列，因此這個首次舉辦的亞洲最高層級賽事，中華男女排當然都不會缺席！

In 2008, AVC is to have a newly-created competition: Asian Cup for Men and Women. The AVC Cup is to be held in even years while the Asia Senior Championships is to be held in odd years. The new event is the highest level in AVC competitions as only top eight teams of Asian Senior Championships can participate. The first AVC Cup for Women is scheduled to be held in Thailand in September, which is also the qualification tournament for the 2009 World Grand Prix, while the site and date of the men's Asian Cup will be decided later. 
在2008年，亞排聯將舉辦一項新創的賽事：亞洲盃(Asian Cup)男女排球賽(*註1)！以後就固定於偶數年舉辦"亞洲盃(Asian Cup)"，而奇數年則舉辦"亞錦賽(Asian Senior Championships)"。這項新賽事也將是亞洲地區最高層級的比賽，因為只有在前一年的亞錦賽取得前八強的隊伍才有資格參賽。第一屆的亞洲盃女排賽已排定在九月份於泰國舉辦(*註2) ，這同時也將是2009世界女排大獎賽的亞洲資格賽。而至於第一屆亞洲盃男排賽目前時間地點還未定。

*註1：亞洲盃就是取代"亞洲男排四強挑戰賽"的盛大賽事
*註2：雖然這邊寫九月份舉辦，不過排協行事曆已直接寫10/1~8在泰國舉辦


From June 1 to 8, the 2008 Asian Women's Club Championship will be held in Vinh Phuc of Vietnam while the Championship for Men's Clubs will be carried out in Almaty of Kazakhstan from July 17-25. From September 20 to 28, the 14th Asian Junior Women's Championship is to be held in Chinese Taipei.And Pakistan will host the Jr. Men's Championship from September 6-14 in Islamabad. The two events are also the qualification tournaments for 2009 World Jr. Women' and Men's Championships. 
6月01日~08日於越南將舉辦2008亞洲俱樂部女排錦標賽，
7月17日~25日在哈薩克舉辦2008亞洲俱樂部男排錦標賽。

9月20日~28日的第14屆亞洲青年女子排球錦標賽將於台灣舉辦，
9月06日~14日的第14屆亞洲青年男子排球錦賽賽於巴基斯坦舉辦。
以上這兩項賽事同時也是2009世界青年男女排錦標賽的資格賽。


Malaysia and Sri Lanka will organize the Asian Youth Girls and Boys Championships respectively from October 11 to 18 and 14 to 21. The Asian Youth Championships are also the qualification tournaments for the 2009 World Youth Girls and Boys Championships. 
馬來西亞和斯里蘭卡將分別在10月11~18日以及10月14~21日舉辦亞洲青少年女排以及男排錦標賽，這兩項賽事同時也是2009世界青少年男女排錦標賽的資格賽。


Other events include : 1. 5th VTV Cup Women's Volleyball Invitation in July in Vietnam,; 20th Asian Men's Pacific Cup in Fukuoka of Japan; 4th Sting Cup Men's Volleyball Invitation in Vietnam; 
其它賽事還包括：七月份在越南舉辦的第五屆VTV盃女排邀請賽；在日本福岡舉辦的第20屆Pacific Cup男排賽；以及在越南舉行的第四屆Sting Cup男排邀請賽。

PS:我想這段的賽事應該是比較不重要的吧 XD


In 2008, the most important volleyball competition is the Olympic Games to be held in Beijing of China from August 9 to 23. And Japan will organize the Asian Continental Qualification Tournament, which is to be played together with the World Olympic Qualification Tournaments in May. Women's teams from Japan, Thailand, Korea and Kazakhstan, and men's teams from Australia, Japan, Korea, Iran and Thailand will vie for the berth for the Olympic Games. Besides, Indonesia and Chinese Taipei will also take part in the World Qualification Tournaments by drawing of lots in February. 
在2008年最重要的的排球賽事當然就是8月9~23日舉辦的北京奧運。
而日本也將在今年五月舉辦奧運的亞洲區兼跨洲世界區資格賽，女排參賽的亞洲隊伍包括日本、泰國、韓國以及哈薩克，而男排部分則有澳洲、日本、韓國、伊朗以及泰國來爭奪奧運參賽權。此外，印尼以及中華台北也將在3月3日在日本東京「京王廣場飯店」進行抽籤決定參加哪一站的奧運男排跨洲世界區資格賽。

Yokohama of Japan was awarded by the Grand Prix council the right to organize the Grand Prix final from July 9 to 13, and Ningbo of China, Kobe of Japan, Bangkok of Thailand, Hong Kong, Macao and Chinese Taipei will host the preliminary round of the Grand Prix. 
日本橫濱也將在7月9~13日舉辦2008年世界女排大獎賽的最後決賽，此外中國寧波、日本神戶、泰國曼谷、香港、澳門以及台灣也都將舉辦大獎賽的分站賽事。 (*註3)

Adelaide of Australia, Shanghai of China, Seoul of Korea, Osaka of Japan, Dubai of UAE, Phukat of Thailand and Sanya of China will host 2008 SWATCH FIVB World Tour for Women while Adelaide, Shanghai, Dubai, Manama of Bahrain and Sanya will be sites for Men. 
2008世界沙灘排球巡迴賽：女子組將會到澳洲Adelaide、中國上海、韓國首爾、日本大阪、阿拉伯杜拜、泰國Phukat、中國海南島等地舉辦，而男子組部分則是會到澳洲、上海、杜拜、巴林、海南島等地舉辦。
